Конспект урока по английскому языку для 4 класса на тему:

« Being happy in the country and in the city».

Презентация к уроку.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент

Приветствие и подготовка к уроку.

Good morning, children! — I’m glad to see you!

Today, we will have a competition-lesson. You divided into two groups. Please, take these flowers. OK, the first team names the city and the second team names the country.

— Prepare for the lesson. Put your books, exercise-books and pencil-boxes on your desks.

You must choose the captains of your teams. You will do some tasks and get points for each task. Good luck!

— The topic of our lesson: Being happy in the country and in the city. (слайд)

Цели урока: сегодня на уроке мы узнаем, почему одни люди любят жить в городе, а другие в деревне и вы сможете высказать свою точку зрения, почему вы бы хотели жить в городе или в деревне.

А) All together repeat the patter.

One-one was a race horse.

Two-two was one too.

One-one won one race.

Two-two won one too.

8. Конкурс — рассказывание стихотворения (проверка домашнего задания)

Iknowthatyou learnt by heart the poem “The country and the city”. This was your homework. I want that you recite the poem, but the phrases about the city will recite the city team and the phrases about the country will recite the country team. OK? Who will recite the poem ?

You are well done! The country team gets 1 point and the city teams gets 1 point too.

9. Конкурс чтения. Совершенствование навыков чтения

Now, children, read Sveta’s letter in your books (ex.3, p.34). Sveta from Russia and she says what you can see in the city and in the country. We will divide this text into two parts. The city team will read the first part and the country team the second part.

Children, as you know there are many big cities and countries. On the one hand there are more places to visit in the cities, on the other hand there are many beautiful places in the country. The animals live in the city and in the country too. People can’t live without animals. Tell me please :

Are the animals happier in the city or in the country? (In the country)

Of course? They are happy been in the country. They live on the farm. We know a song: “Old Mcdonald had a farm”.
