Краткое описание: — Открытый урок в 8 классе по теме: "Парламент Великобритании". На этом уроке учащиеся продемонстрировали знания по данной теме, выполняя упражнения. На данном уроке используются все виды деятельности: чтение, говорение, аудирование.

1. Организационный момент

- Hello, children! I am glad to see you again. Sit down, please! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

Today our theme is the British Parliament. So, it’s high time to begin our lesson.

3. This is the oldest part of the building. A lot of famous events and meetings have taken place here. It saw Guy Fawkes, who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605, and in World War II bombs fell on it. (Westminster Hall)

David Cameron

Meet the current Prime Minister of the UK.

His real name is David William Donald Cameron and actually he is the 75th Prime Minister. He is comparatively young as he’s 45 years old.

Unlike James Gordon, who was a Labourist, he belongs to the Conservative Party.

He was born in London. He got education at Eton and Oxford. He always produced the impression of a competent person. His personal achievements are remarkable.

He became the Prime-Minister of the UK after the general election in May 2010 and from this time on he’s the person №1 in the British government.

He is good at rugby and tennis and used to take part in sport competitions.
