Краткое описание: — Предполагается, что данный урок проходит в компьютерной лаборатории, где у каждого учащегося есть доступ к компьютеру. Задания этого урока выполняются учащимися индивидуально. Итоговое задание на говорение может готовиться и презентоваться как индивидуально, так в парах или минигруппах. В таком случае учитель задает лимит времени на выполнение предыдущих заданий. Письменные задания выполняются учащимися в handout’е, выданном им учителем в начале урока (см. ниже). Данный урок может стать дополнением к основному УМК, например, к УМК English-IX Афанасьевой О. В., Михеевой И. В. Урок может быть проведен после прохождения Lessons 22-23, Unit 3 (You Are Only A Teenager Once) этого учебника с целью дальнейшего развития навыков чтения, аудирования, говорения и закрепления лексики. Ниже приводятся инструкции для учащихся, которые рассылаются учителем по электронной почте или выкладываются им на школьном сервере. Find the player of the podcast (the green box). Scroll down the menu (the right part of the player) to choose Section 6 Carolina' (time span 15:12 — 19:58).

2. Go to Instructions & downloads. Download the Support Pack only. Print out Pages 1 and 17.You will need a pen or a pencil for further work.

4. LISTENING TO A PODCAST

a) Listen to the Section 6 'Carolina' extract and while listening do the Section 6 task (Support Pack, p. 1).

Note:you can listen to the podcast as many times as you need to fulfill the task.

b) Check your answer against the key at p.17 Support Pack.

c) Try again if necessary.

d) Answer the question in (Task 1, Handout). If you have any difficulties, listen to the podcast again.

5. READING FOR DETAIL “YOUTH CULTURE”

1. Inpairs, groups or individually get ready to give a short talk (10-12 sentences) on the issue: If rap is to blame for teen violence . You may use the plan to organize your speech.
