    Let me introduce our guests to you…

    So, the theme of our today’s lesson is “Schools in Britain and Russia today”

    We are going to listen and speak about schools in Britain, about our school. We’ll meet our English guests, watch the film and talk to them. By the end of the lesson I’m sure you’ll learn a lot more about British culture and people. Are you ready? Let’s begin with the Phonetic Drill.

    T: We have also prepared a presentation of our school specially for our guests. Let’s watch it and get ready to speak about it.

    T: Now, you have watched the presentation and revised everything. Imagine what you can say about your school. Let’s practise it in pairs . Imagine that a newcomer is asking you something or another situation and act out short dialogues.

    T: We talked a lot about schools in Russia and abroad, but they all have advantages and disadvantages. That’s why I ask a question what is an ideal school as you imagine it.

    Work in groups and write your suggestions together.
